Use the DietFix™ Tracker daily
1. Log in to your PlateauBreaker™ account and go to the DietFix™ Profile page
Start by entering the essentials:
- Sex
- Age
Keep these fields updated:
- Body Weight – Each time you weigh yourself, do it at the same time of day, preferably first thing in the morning after using the bathroom. Wear minimal clothing or the same amount and type of clothing each time.
- Body Fat Percentage – Use the illustrated chart to estimate your current body fat percentage. You can enter a number midway between two points shown on the chart. Or, if you have a test from an accurate caliper, hydrostatic weighing, or Dexa scan, enter your test score.
- Weekly Hours of Activity – Enter the number of hours you exercise weekly. Only include intentional exercise like weight training, cardio, classes, or sports. Don’t count general movement like walking the dog or doing errands.
- Diet History – Your diet history helps DietFix estimate how your metabolism may have adapted over time—especially if you’ve done low-calorie or restrictive diets in the past.
DietFix uses this information to calculate your Lean Mass to Fat Mass Ratio and build a fully customized plan tailored to your goals.
2. Go to the DietFix™ Tracker page
Your Tracker page is where you can log your meals, monitor your nutritional intake, and work with menus. Use the Calendar to view past journal pages, or to set up menus for future dates.
One way to use the Tracker is to simply record the meals you eat. Add any food and drinks you consume to your journal, aiming for the calorie and macronutrient targets DietFix sets for you. You can save your journal entries for future use as Custom Menus, as described below.
How to work with Sample and Custom Menus
To load a Sample or Custom menu into your journal, go to the day in your Calendar where you want to add it, then in the Menus dropdown, use the “Load” button to add the menu to that day.
Please note: If you already have foods in your journal for the Calendar day you’re working with, loading a menu will merge the foods from the loaded menu with any existing entries for that day.
Sample Menus
Your Sample Menus are strategically customized for you to achieve maximum fat loss. Their macronutrient breakdowns, with a keen focus on protein, are matched to your lean mass.
These menus cannot be directly edited. However, you can load a Sample Menu into your journal, make any changes you want, then save the result as a Custom Menu. Open the “Menus” dropdown and enter a title for your new menu in the field under “Save as Custom Menu”. Click “Save”. Your new menu will appear under the heading “Custom Menus”.
Custom Menus
To create a Custom Menu from a journal entry, go the day you want to save, then under the “Menus” dropdown, give the menu a title and click “Save”. It will appear in the “Custom Menus” list where it can be loaded into your journal or edited as you like.
To start with a fresh slate, go to the “Menus” dropdown, write a title for your Custom menu, check the box labelled “Make a blank menu”, and click “Save”. You can then begin adding entries to the new menu. It will appear in the “Menus” dropdown, where you have the option to continue editing or load it into your journal.
Please note: When editing a Custom Menu, any changes you make are saved automatically.
